There are still many things need to be done, whatever
the goals (MDGs Vs. SDGs) are, they require a good social Development Aid support mechanism to support them. The
government may could be changed, but only with good social support mechanism, it
is possible to have a sustainable development of our society.
Whatever the sustainable development politics
and strategies would be or would be adopted, we have reached a sustainable development era
where there is a need of suitable social mechanism support worldwide to connect
a global audience to necessary resources while providing a system to translate
these goals, data, information and knowledge into sustainable local best
practices.
So we are calling on interested parties from all backgrounds who can support, bring creativity, dedication, experience and talent to this program, to assist the hard work of development organizations, local governments, donors, foundations, ONGs, private sectors, for the worth management of, and worth investment in the social, economic and environmental well-being of our lovely planet.
The world is interconnected. And we agreed all that if something is wrong away over there (poorest of poor people have trouble meeting basic needs) it will affect others parts of the world and societies (example of the Lampedusa disaster - example of Spain´s illegal immigration etc).
The challenge is a group of populations with an empty Stomach, a group of populations in "survival mode", a group of populations with false information, and a group of individuals who focused their interests only in "money" and "greedy business" could not take care right about the United Nation's Millennium Development Goals, the worth management of the social and environmental well-being of our lovely planet. It will be difficult to them to care right about the Sustainable development goals (SDGs) through the promotion of simple and good practices of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) to reach sustainable, worth-living integrated development. On the papers and in the marketing this would work fine. But to translate these Goals into the local right practices would be difficult. The facts are showing that the access to the data, information, knowledge and development resources even technology and money are not enough to guarantee Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as long as there is no suitable social mechanism into place to support worldwide the target audiences to translate these Goals, data, information and knowledge into sustainable local best practices. The United Nation's Millennium Development Goals are still having resistance because of the lack of the right Social Services Support worldwide. We need a social mechanism support that informs, supports, engages, and mobilizes poor, rich, business, religion, literate, illiterate, local people and local governments to put right or to translate the SDGs through the MDGs practices into the right local practices worldwide. We are working hard to design this social mechanism support worldwide (The Global Social Services Support to SDGs). The platform of Knowledge for development without borders: 24x7 Social Services support for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through the promotion of simple and good practices of the Millennium Development Goals(MDGs) to reach sustainable, worth-living integrated development. We are looking worldwide for honest volunteers, colleagues, friends, institutions, partners, universities, governments, foundations, privates, publics, NGOs, donors, individuals etc. to help us to develop this new program to assist development organizations and local governments for the worth management of the social and environmental well-being of our lovely planet.

On my recent blog I have talked about the need of the design of Global Services Support to achieve long-term Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through Simple and Good Practices of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). I am blogging here to explain why such initiative is so important to be adopted, and supported worldwide by development organizations, individuals, universities, research institutions, sustainable development networking, NGOs, development foundations, communities of practices, local/central governments, private and public institutions.
In addition, the capacities of local governments are limited in resources to cover all the good practices of their Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Access to the money and information is not enough. Even microfinance has shown it limits.
These are the realities we are facing for a long time in the sustainable development Arena.
Sustainable Development is not only a process to develop a specific country or continent. It is also about the promoting, the monitoring, the support and the maintenance of the United Nation's Sustainable Development Goals.
Anyhow we do not need to point out anybody, any development organizations, any universities, community practices, NGOs, public and private institutions, government as Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) are applied to all people (Rich and Poor) worldwide. We have all contributed or been party to the failure of some Millennium Development (MDGs) Goals to achieve their assigned objectives.
Therefore, there is a big
need to design Global Services Support
to achieve long-term Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through Simple and
Good Practices of the MDGs.
We could not achieve Sustainable
Development Goals if all our target audiences
(Rich and Poor) do not know about the benefits of these goals. We could not achieve Sustainable
Development Goals if all our target audiences
(Rich and Poor) do not know how to put these
goals into practices. We could not achieve Sustainable
Development Goals if all our target audiences
(Rich and Poor) do not know how to maintain these goals. The transfer and the translation of available knowledge for development as well as local resources into good local practices are
big challenge as that of making information accessible.
(See: We
are lacking of the right delivery process and not of practical knowledge for
development). The example of
“Damberger's TED talk on water pumps --
three sequential projects that "forgot" the human infrastructure
needed for maintenance” is a great example among other governmental and public–private partnerships (PPPs) development projects.
Lisa examples are very appealing. “ (...) my former flat mate's project was HIV/AIDS
education in South Africa, but all she really did was distribute condoms and
teach people how to use them. Is this worthy? Sure. But as soon as her time was
over and she came back, there was no one there giving out free condoms. A
friend from grad school had previously been a PC volunteer working on a project
to provide a water pump to a village in Mali. As part of the project, they
sealed off the well that had previously been used and, unfortunately, the pump
ended up breaking down and no one locally knew how to fix it. So now the
villagers have to walk to the next closest village to gather water. And there
are many other, similar cases.
Perhaps my sample size is too small. I will also accept criticism of selection bias. Fine. And your argument that the PC is not supposed to be about development projects but about a cultural exchange is well taken. However, in the context of development failures that add to the clichés portrayed in the Kenyan mockumentary, the Peace Corps does not engage in any sort of monitoring and evaluation. So a well-meaning volunteer can go through the training (which may or may not always be as good as yours seems to have been, see also http://www.washingtonmonthly.com/magazine/march_april_2012/features/good_news_first_bad_news_never035758.php?page=all) and spend a year living abroad, doing a project and come home feeling good about himself. Great. But no one goes back a year or five years later to see if the irrigation system still works, if the water pump is being used, if the sanitation program has decreased water borne disease in the area or if those children speak English, or whatever the project was supposed to be. And without accurate and unbiased M&E, how can any organization claim to be a success, or indeed a failure? (...) “ [see detail LinkedIn]

The UN Chief Cites Syria
at Rwanda Genocide Commemoration: "The Rwandan genocide was an epic failure of
the international community to take action in the face of atrocity
crimes," said the U.N. Secretary General. We know more keenly than ever
that genocide is not a single event, but a process that evolves over
time." Noting that with "courage and political will, genocide can be
prevented," Ban, however, said that the killings in Syria continue. The
death toll is currently estimated at more than 140,000, with no sign of ending.
An estimated 800,000 people, the overwhelming majority of them ethnic Tutsis,
were killed in Rwanda's 1994 genocide "Our collective failure to prevent
atrocities in Syria over the past three years is a shameful indictment of the
international community," said Ban, also mentioning rising hatred against
migrants, Muslims and the Roma community in Europe” [UN Chief Cites Syria

My research shows that
there is a mass of populations in the world without access to the
information and the knowledge about the benefits of the Millennium Development
Goals (MDGs). There is a mass of populations in the world who do not know what
the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) are and mean. There is a mass of
populations in the world who do not know how to put the Millennium
Development Goals (MDGs) into practices…
Earlier
Knowledge and information from the grounds are the world’s most important facts
to address and achieve the World´s most complex Development Challenges. The challenges are If development practitioners, development
organizations, NGOs, private and public institution etc. could not get the real
time information, knowledge, the difficulties that they will encounter on the
target ground, how can they design development intervention to tackle on real
time all these phenomena of the poverty that are transforming in time and
space?
Having
eyes and ears everywhere to pursue and to watch poverty on the real time must
be a great opportunity and success to track and to respond well to the World´s
most complex Development Challenges.
These examples let me think about a pragmatic action, the design of a Knowledge for Development Without Boarders’ platform. The Knowledge for
Development without Boarders’ initiative is a Global Services Support worldwide
for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through the promotion of simple and
good practices of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) to reach Sustainable,
worth-living integrated development.
The
initiative explores simple practical, viable and dynamic solutions, as we have
ears and eyes on daily basis about informing, engaging, mobilizing and
working hands in hands with local people in each corner worldwide for the
achievement and the maintenance of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs)
to reach long-term
Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Sustainable, worth-living integrated
development.
Furthermore,
a
pragmatic action like Knowledge for Development without Borders will close
temporary and on long-term the lack of the access in real time to communication
infrastructures as well as the lack of the access to accurate information
and knowledge on the grounds for worth development project and programme
evaluation, decision making and intervention as we have ears and eyes on daily
basis on the grounds; as we are working hands–in-hands with local communities wherever
and worldwide.
So
UN, all development agencies, NGOs, private and public institutions, local and
central governments interested in must receive accurate information, knowledge
and feedback in real time for better decision making and intervention.
